Santa Rosa United has undergone a recent re-organization. We understand how disruptive change can be and are working to reduce problems as much as possible. Dave Shaffer and Emiria Salzmann are part of the new club management. Additional information will be communicated to all in the coming week.
In recent days, Betsy Stewart and Erik Lehrer have resigned as President and Secretary of the Club, respectively. At Tuesday nights’ meeting of the Board of Directors of the Club, John Quinn and Patti Johnson were elected to serve as President and Secretary, respectively, until the September elections of the Executive Officers of the Club. Late yesterday, Robin Leinen resigned as Vice President of the Club. We thank these, and all, past and present Directors for their service to the Club and the broad soccer community.
We are in the process of seeking and accepting nominations for Members of the Board of Directors and will be presenting potential new Directors to the Managers at the August Managers’ Meeting. New Directors will be elected by the Managers at the September Managers’ Meeting.
